Trail Work: Pacific Crest Trail

June 29 - June 30

Help us log out an 8-mile section of the Pacific Crest Trail, between Little Crater Lake and Frog Lake, that is used in both the Mt Hood 50M & 50K and the Mountain Lakes 100 races.

We’ll work Saturday and Sunday and you can sign up for one, or both days.

Registration is required and a wait list is activated when full:
Saturday, June 29 registration
Sunday, June 30 registration

We host these to help those runners who have trail work requirements to meet get the work done. If the events don’t fill up that way, we’ll open them to the public.

We have a large campsite reserved for Saturday night, so you can camp with us after Saturday’s work or come out to stay the night before Sunday’s work.

No previous trail experience required. More details are in the registration process and through follow-up emails you’ll receive from the Pacific Crest Trail Association.

Renee and Todd are Pacific Crest Trail Association (PCTA) volunteers, crew leaders, and caretakers for this section of the PCT. The PCTA has a lot of trail work opportunties and our local Mt. Hood Chapter is looking for new caretakers too.
