Gnar Gnar Gnarly!

Produced by Go Beyond Racing and presented by Nike Trail, the Gnar Gnar is a fun and breathtaking race that will send you up to the top of Mt. Hood Skibowl and right back down in just six total miles.

 

Location

The race takes place at Mt. Hood Skibowl. This winter ski and summer adventure park is in Government Camp, on Mt. Hood, in Oregon. It is just 55 miles/1.25 hours from Portland. Information about the course is on the Course page.

From Portland (55 miles/1.25 hours)

• Take I-84 east to the Wood Village exit #16
• NE 242nd to US 26
• US 26 to Skibowl

From Bend (117 miles/2.25 hours):

• Take US-97 north
• After Madras stay left on US-26
• US 26 to Skibowl

You can find lodging in Government Camp.

 

 

• This event is located on the National Forest.
• You will be running on a multi-use trail and mt. bikers and horses may be encountered. Horses should be approached in a slow/calm manner for safety.
