We believe that it is so important for runners to carpool to our races that we are going to pay for it. Starting this year, racers and volunteers who carpool to our events will get $5 cash and a $5 drink gift card good at Nossa Familia cafes.
In the past we’ve incented people to carpool with unique wooden coasters with the race logo and can koozies with photos from the race course. We’ve also made an online way for people to connect to find a ride or offer up a seat in their car. We’re keeping the online carpool spreadsheet but giving out cash for 2024 instead of coasters or koozies.
Carpooling is so good for so many reasons:
To redeem your cash and coffee gift card, just show us a photo of you and your pals carpooling when you pick up your bib race morning. Even better, post that photo to social media and tag us in it (@gobeyondracing and @nossafamiliacoffee). For fun you can use the hashtag #willcarpoolforcashandcoffee. In case you didn’t know already, Nossa is our favorite coffee and we want you to love it too. It’s what we serve race morning, free for all the runners and volunteers, at our weekend races.
Note that the carpool spreadsheet has a worksheet for each race, so be sure to click the right tab. Also know that this is a public Google document and visible to anyone with the link. We clear all the information from the sheet after each race.
