Spend the weekend, or just one of the days, doing something kinda hard but really fun. For our Volcanic races, the aid stations are inaccessible by vehicle, so we hike the water into them the weekend before the race. Everyone carries as many gallons of water in their packs as they can or want. There is an optional contest, where the person who carries the most weight, compared to their body weight, wins a free race entry!
We meet at 8:00 at Marble Mountain Sno Park lower lot both Saturday and Sunday mornings. We’ll load up, carpool to the trailheads, take our time hike up the mountain, then return to the Sno Park for a feast prepared by Todd and Renee. You won’t leave hungry.
Each hike is about 8.5-miles round trip with 1800′ of gain.
You can camp out Friday night and/or Saturday night and hang out with your fellow luggers.
