A rough and rugged race where you run all the way around an active volcano! Sounds amazing, doesn’t it. It is. The 50K race is 32 miles and will feel more like 50 miles. But it is so worth it. You’ll have stunning views of Mt. St. Helens as you make your way around her. There are four aid stations on the course to support your efforts in this challenging and very rewarding race.
The brand-new 25K provides some of the same terrain as the 50K, so you’ll get to experience the Loowit trail and some boulder fields and rock hopping, with fantastic views of the summit. After the first aid station, you break away from the 50K route and descend on a fun forested trail to the second aid station. The final stretch crosses a debris flow (with a wowzer of a mountain view) and then through the woods to the finish.
