Join us for one or two days of mountain time where we hike in the water to aid stations for the following weekend’s Volcanic races. We’ll meet Saturday morning at the Marble Mountain Sno Park to divy up the water (you carry as much as you can or want) and hike up to the Ape Canyon and Toutle River aid stations. We make it a fun too, by turning it into a contest where the winner earns a free entry. Whoever carries the most weight in relation to the body weight wins!
Bring a big backpack if you have one. Trekking poles are very helpful too.
We’ll feed everyone when we return to the sno park Saturday afternoon. We also camp Saturday night and will take water to the Toutle aid station Sunday if we weren’t able to get it all in on Saturday. If we do get it all done Saturday, and our legs and back are up for it, we can go for a run Sunday instead.
