After a last-minute cancellation in 2017 due to forest fires, and then a year-off so the trails could be repaired, the NUT IS BACK!
This race is ‘brutiful’ and we are not joking about that. It is for those experienced ultrarunners looking to push themselves. The trail is gorgeous. We aren’t kidding about that either. You will be shocked at the beauty of the North Umpqua river and the scenery all around you. The trail is technical, with many rocky sections. And both the 100K and 50K are uphill courses. Have we scared you or peak your interest?
We don’t mean to scare you too much as this is really a great event. There aren’t many 100Ks to choose from and certainly very few 100K or 50K uphill courses. The 100K boasts 11,000 feet of gain and the 50K has 5,700 feet.
100K runners start at Swiftwater Park and finish at Lemolo Lake Resort. 50K racers begin at near the Marsters Bridge and also finish at the resort.
